Panic! At The Disco set new album for March release date
Panic! At The Disco are working on their a new album which remains as-yet untitled. The effort is due March 25 and according to the band they are relying less on computer software and more on their abilities as musicians. To help create the new sound, Panic! At The Disco enlisted producer Rob Mathes. Panic! At The Disco made their break through with 2005's "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," which has sold 1.7 million copies in the US.

New Ashford & Simpson compilation due in January
A new 2-CD compilation by Ashford & Simpson, titled “Warner Brothers Years: Hits, Remixes, and Rarities” will be out in January and features originals as well as hard to find 12" versions and new remixes. The performing and songwriting duo of Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson made their Warner Bros. recording debut in 1973 with their album “Gimme Something Real.” The new 2-CD compilation features originals and 12" versions on disc 1 and contemporary remixes on disc 2.

New Erykah Badu album available on two separately sold discs
Erykah Badu has named her new album "Nu AmErykah." The album is due on February 26 via Motown. Badu's last EP, "Worldwide Underground," was released in 2003 and sold 609,000 copies in the US. "Nu AmErykah" includes 18 songs that will be spread over two separately sold discs. First single "Honey" was produced by 9th Wonder and the '70s sounding "Soldier 7" is rumored to be the follow-up track.

New Goldfrapp Seventh Tree set for February release
Goldfrapp‘s new album "Seventh Tree," which due February 26 is said to be different from any previous material by the duo. On the new effort there is a greater emphasis on ethereal, psychedelic pop and even features acoustic guitars. The band wanted their new music to “sound delicate, but not weak." According to the band, some songs were recorded in an afternoon, and others took ages to finish.

New Madonna album titled Licorice
Madonna has named her new studio album "Licorice" and will release the effort in late April. Two songs have been previewed in a UK radio show, "Candy Shop" and "The Beat Goes On." Both track leaked online earlier this year already. Kanye West is said to guest on "The Beat Goes On." After releasing "Licorice" and another greatest hits collection, Madonna will record for Artist Nation, a new initiative launched by concert promoter Live Nation. Madonna signed a 10-year deal with Artist Nation for releasing all of Madonna's future music and music-related businesses, including the exploitation of the Madonna brand, new studio albums, touring, merchandising, fan clubs/Web sites, DVDs, music-related television and film projects and associated sponsorship agreements.
