Macy Gray to release two albums in 2011
Macy Gray is working on a follow-up to her 2010 album "The Sellout" and wants to put out another this year as well. In fact, Gray is also planning to do a jazz record. For the follow-up to "The Sellout", Macy has already eight songs finished.

Brian McKnight returns to old school R&B
Brian McKnight has recorded new material for a live CD/DVD package, The package will be titled "Just Me" and is set for an April release date. A first single is due this month. According to the singer, he is going back to old school R&B with four new songs that he recorded in January. The new material references to work of artists such as Marvin Gaye and Ray Charles.

Kinks reissue albums
The Kinks are to reissue seven of their albums later this year. The albums being re-issued are 1964’s “The Kinks”, “Kinda Kinks” and “The Kink Kontroversy” both from 1965. They will be released on March 28. Next up are 1969’s “Arthur (Or The Decline And Fall Of The British Empire)”, 1971’s “Muswell Hillbillies”, 1966’s “Face To Face” and 1967’s “Something Else”. Each of the albums will re-released as 2CDs with added rarities, outtakes, demos, session tracks and liner notes.

Britney Spears working with Will.i.am and Ke$ha on new album
Along with producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin, Britney Spears has announced that she is working with the Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am on her upcoming new album "Femme Fatale." Spears is also said to be collaborating with Ke$ha, who wrote a new dance track for Britney titled "Till The World Ends."

The-Dream to release new album in August
R&B singer/producer The-Dream has announced that he expects to release a new album this August. The new effort will be his fourth album, and the follow-up to last year's "Love King." It is is his first material since his split with singer Christina Milian.
