Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher planning to start new band
Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is starting a new band. Liam is planning to start a new band next year. He wants to get away from Oasis and does not want to do anything solo. Right now he is planning to take a break from music. Oasis split in August after brother Noel quit the band.

New Alicia Keys album pushed back
While revealing that the song "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" will be her new single, Alicia Keys has also announced that her upcoming new album has been pushed back two weeks. The singer’s new effort "The Element Of Freedom" will now be out December 15. Meanwhile, her first single "Doesn't Mean Anything" is still climbing the charts.

Fall Out Boy to release greatest hits collection
Fall Out Boy are set to release a Greatest Hits collection next month.The 18-track album will be titled “Believers Never Die”and will include two rarities and two new songs, including next single “Alpha Dog” and their cover of Michael Jackson's “Beat It.” The release will also include a DVD with 14 Fall Out Boy music videos. The compilation wil be out on November 16.

Train back with new album
After a two-year hiatus Train has regrouped with singer Pat Monahan and drummer Scott Underwood in 2008 to record Train's 5th album "Save Me, San Francisco" which is out now. According to the band
“it has been a constant cycle of recording non-stop.”

Pulp to reunite next year
Frontman Jarvis Cocker of Pulp has hinted that Pulp will reunite in 2010. In an interview Cocker has said that the band is up for a reformation for the 2010 Glastonbury Festival. Jarvis Cocker formed Pulp in Sheffield in 1978 but it took until the ‘90s for the band to gain international attention. Their biggest hit was “Common People” (1995) and the band broke up in 2002. Meanwhile, Cocker has released two solo album.

New Michael Jackson album ready to top worldwide charts
The new Michael Jackson 2-CD album "This Is It" is out now. Experts have predicted that it will probably top charts worldwide, especially with album sales in decline. In the US, fans have bought nearly 6 million Jackson albums since the singer suddenly died in June. This may temper demand for what is essentially another greatest hits collection.

New Rammstein album gets Australian 18+ rating
In Australia the new Rammstein album may not be sold to anyone under the age of 18 because it has been rated R18+. “Liebe ist für alle da” was released in Australia this week and caused considerable controversy after the band pre-empted the album’s release with an x-rated pornographic video of the first single “Pussy.” Under Australian censorship laws, the R18+ rating is restricted to content with high impact and restricted to adults 18 years and older. The band will also release a limited edition of the album soon in a flight case packaged with six sex toys, handcuffs and lubricant.

R. Kelly to release new album in December
R. Kelly will release his 10th studio album "Untitled" on December 1. First single off the new effort is the track "Number One," that features Keri Hilson. "Number One" has already sold 91,000 digital downloads and is R. Kelly's 35th Top 10 single on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, which means he has now surpassed Nat King Cole's record of having the most Top 10 hits on that chart. Second single off the new R. Kelly album is the track “Religious."
